Van Sant Law has always been committed to furthering the education of young children and helping our community give back. That is why we started our scholarship program for teachers in the area who deserve extra funding for much-needed school supplies. Earlier this year, we announced the opening of our scholarship program, and we are proud to announce the winners of this year’s scholarship.
Meet the Winners
Each winner will receive $250 toward classroom supplies and other needed items to educate young minds in the state. We had many teachers apply to the contest on Kicks 101.5, and we have now selected our four winners:
- Beth Parsons from McClure Middle School
- Allison Adams from Partee Elementary
- Lori Schulman from Garrison Mill Elementary
- Sheryl Robinson from Baldwin Elementary
The team at Van Sant Law would like to personally congratulate these four teachers!
About the Contest
The scholarship was launched as part of a celebration for the start of the new school year. At the end of September 2016, the four winners would be selected and notified.
In conjunction with Kicks 101.5FM, Van Sant Law, wanted to thank local teachers for all of the hard work that they do each school year. Most importantly, we wanted to highlight the fact that we know most of these teachers use their own funds to purchase much-needed class supplies. With this scholarship, we hope to reduce that burden for some of our state’s teachers.
The contest had more than 3,000 entries by the end of September, and the four winners were selected at random.
Van Sant Law is on the Lookout for Ways to Help Our Community
At our law firm, we are committed to helping our local community. We want local schools, businesses, and residents to have access to the resources that they need. That is why we participate in various charitable activities and support organizations throughout the state.
We also devote our time to educating our clients, as well as non-clients, about their rights after suffering from a serious injury. As attorneys, we are here for our clients as advocates during difficult times. We know that our clients have injuries and losses, and we want to help them recover as much as possible without worry.
Those who turn to Van Sant Law, for help can rest assured that we are working for them – not a paycheck. We welcome questions from the community and look forward to promoting more opportunities to help our local schools, students, and more.
